Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween last night. The weather, unfortunately, was horrible in Chicago. Huge thunderstorm. Typical.
Thankfully Jake didn’t object when I insisted we venture out into the pouring rain, in costume, to get $3 burritos at Chipotle.
Things I love this week:
I love sweet potatoes. I love them for breakfast. I love them as fries. I love them as soup. This week I found this round up post of all the wonderful things you can make with sweet potatoes. Sweet potato cake with paleo white frosting? Really? You can do that?
I loved this post over at Meatified on their paleo pantry. Tips on what items you should keep on hand and how to organize them.
Are you a food blogger? I thought this article was really helpful on how to set up/style your food photography.
I checked this book out from the library today. Haven’t had a chance to read it yet but it looks promising.
And lastly, speaking of books, if you’re active in the paleo community, you may have heard that Diane Sanfilippo just published her book The 21 Day Sugar Detox. Well, guess what, I’m going to give it a go starting Monday.
That’s right. No sugar. No fake sugar. No honey, no maple syrup, almost no fruit. If you’re interested in hearing how it goes, check back in next week.
